We require full payment plus shipping for the Waldorf Dolls and Pocket Pals before we can start making them. Upon completion of the doll, we will notify you and mail your order.

How To Care For Your Doll:
Your handmade custom doll will last for many years with proper care and attention.
Waldorf dolls and Pocket Pals are stuffed with 100% wool batting; the yarn used for the hair is a mixture of wool and mohair; clothes are crafted from natural fabrics, and Pocket Pals are knitted using natural yarn.
For the doll, we recommend hand washing. However, the clothes can be machine washed. Submerge the doll in warm water using a mild soap. Gently agitate where needed, then rinse and press out the water with your hands. Place the doll between layers of towel for additional release of water. Air dry in the sun, if possible. The doll may take a couple of days to completely dry since the wool stuffing tends to absorb water.
For the care of the hair, we recommend no brushes or combs. Instead, gently use your fingers to act as the comb to separate and fluff up the strands of yarn. Hard rubbing of the yarn will result in felting the hair.
Gentle care will keep your doll in good condition for years to come.
